The President described university the best place for dialogue and discussion about the recent incidents in the country and offering solutions, adding, "The most important precondition for such dialogues is the correct understanding of issues. If the issues are not analysed well, they will be affected by the atmosphere created by the media and the cyberspace, leading to error".
Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi met with presidents of universities under the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on Saturday evening and described universities dynamic places that disappoint the enemies by producing the power of science for the country.
The President described science and knowledge as the most important tool for the guidance of the mankind and said, "The sanctity of the university is because of the same thing".
"The university being political means that the university must know the society and its needs more and better than any other sector," he said.

Stating that the war today is the war of narratives, the President said, "The enemy had tried a lot to stop the country's scientific, industrial, production and service activities in the country and cut Iran's connection with other countries".
"The enemy has announced it clearly that it would try to reduce Iran's oil sales to zero but in the current conditions, the country's oil exports has become closer to the figures before the sanctions," he said.
Ayatollah Raisi added, "Of course, alongside these advancements, there are some shortcomings and issues in answering the problems in the minds of the academics".
