Iran keen to expand ties with Africa

President Hassan Rouhani said on Monday that Iran is willing to expand relations with African countries.


 Iran keen to expand ties with Africa
President Rouhani told Burundi’s new Ambassador to Tehran Omar Nazrin that he was happy with restoration of security to Africa. “The `Government of Prudence and Hope’ is determined to expand relations with the African countries.”
Rouhani said Tehran will go ahead with its technical and vocational educational programs for Burundi and as far as health and agriculture are concerned, Tehran will help Burundi in this field.
The Burundi diplomat said that his country will try to enforce mutually reached agreement.
He noted “We consider Iran a friend that should be supported; so we will try to expand our brotherly relations and cooperation.”
