Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held farewell meetings with the newly appointed ambassadors to Vietnam and Romania, Akbar Ghasemi and Mohsen Emadi, respectively. During the session, the president outlined his administration’s core foreign policy strategy, characterizing it as a balanced, development-oriented approach aimed at securing national interests through deepened bilateral ties.
Addressing the envoys, President Pezeshkian stressed the necessity of fully leveraging diplomatic, economic, cultural, and technological capacities to strengthen relations with their host nations.

In turn, ambassadors Ghasemi and Emadi provided detailed briefings on the current state of bilateral relations and identified key opportunities for growth in their respective missions. They also presented comprehensive plans aimed at enhancing political, economic, and cultural interactions, aligning their future efforts with the macro-policies of the Islamic Republic to ensure effective representation and the realization of national objectives.
