On Wednesday, the Iranian president and the Pakistani prime minister held a phone conversation to review bilateral relations and recent regional diplomatic developments. 
 
During the call, President Pezeshkian extended his congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha to the government and people of Pakistan. 
 
The Iranian president commended Islamabad’s constructive role in supporting diplomatic initiatives aimed at de-escalating tensions and resolving ongoing regional crises. 
 
President Pezeshkian further highlighted the necessity of sustained coordination among Islamic nations to safeguard stability, security, and the shared interests of the Islamic world.
 
Prime Minister Sharif, reciprocating the Eid greetings, expressed hope that current diplomatic processes would soon yield effective and sustainable outcomes, paving the way for enhanced regional cooperation.
 
Reflecting on the profound historical and cultural ties between Tehran and Islamabad, both sides scrutinized avenues for upgrading bilateral relations.
