Congratulating the Iranian nation on the arrival of spring, the president stressed the need to strengthen national unity in the current sensitive circumstances, saying Iran needs the spirit of Nowruz more than ever to showcase solidarity and cohesion, urging Iranians to set aside differences and work together for the country’s pride.

President Pezeshkian also expressed condolences over the martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and other Iranians, stressing that the political system remains stable under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, who was elected by the Assembly of Experts.

The president praised the Assembly of Experts’ wise choice of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei as the new Leader, saying the decision ensured the strong continuation of the Islamic Republic’s leadership.

President Pezeshkian described the convergence of Nowruz and Eid al Fitr as a symbolic moment combining spiritual and cultural renewal, urging Iranians to set aside differences and strengthen national solidarity to guide the country through current challenges.

He praised the Iranian people’s presence in public gatherings during recent tensions, saying their mobilization reflected a genuine popular movement. This is not artificial intelligence; it is the awakened voice of a nation defending its territorial integrity and identity, he emphasized.

The president also commended the efforts of security forces, volunteer groups, mosques, and local institutions for maintaining stability and providing services during difficult days. He invited Iranians around the world to contribute to national unity and the country’s development.

On regional affairs, President Pezeshkian reiterated Iran’s willingness to resolve misunderstandings with neighboring countries and emphasized that the Islamic Republic does not seek confrontation with other Muslim nations. He proposed the creation of a regional structure, including a Middle East Islamic Assembly, to coordinate security, economic, political, and cultural relations among Muslim countries without the intervention of foreign powers.

According to the president, such a framework could help reduce tensions and strengthen cooperation across the region.

President Pezeshkian also criticized double standards among certain international actors on human rights and condemned ongoing violence in the region, arguing that the root cause of instability and conflict lies in the policies of the Israeli regime.

Reaffirming Iran’s stance on nuclear weapons, he said the country remains committed to the religious decree issued by the late Leader banning weapons of mass destruction, stressing that Iran has never sought and will never pursue nuclear arms.

The president pledged that his administration would dedicate all its efforts to serving the Iranian people and helping the country overcome economic and social difficulties.

He assured the noble people of Iran that the government will stand firmly by them and work tirelessly to navigate these hardships, expressing hope that peace, stability, and development will soon prevail in Iran and across the Islamic world.
