Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has congratulated the national freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling teams for their decisive championship titles at the 2026 Asian Wrestling Championships held in Kyrgyzstan.
In a message on Monday, President Pezeshkian described the teams’ commanding victories as a clear reflection of the strength, determination, and exceptional perseverance of Iran’s youth. He said the repeated successes once again demonstrated the capability and unwavering spirit of the nation’s athletes.
Reaffirming the government’s continued support for Iranian sports teams, the president extended his congratulations to the Iranian people, the champions of the national freestyle and Greco Roman squads, their coaches, technical staff, and everyone involved in securing the victories.
