Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian called for empowering the Public Administration and Recruitment Organization in an effort to remodel an administrative structure that is suitable for the country, saying that global successful experiences and expertise of international organizations can be used to accelerate the restructuring process.
The president made the comments during an unannounced visit to the Public Administration and Recruitment Organization on Tuesday, where he held talks with the chairman and his deputies about the measures they have taken since the appointment of Alaeddin Rafizadeh as the head of the organization two months ago.
Pezeshkian said, in order to better restructure the country’s administrative system, Iranian experts can cooperate with their foreign counterparts to produce the best result.
To this aim, Iranian academic capabilities can be used as well, he added.
He also pointed out to the role of the organization as the focal point of national management, arguing: "If the Public Administration and Recruitment Organization becomes empowered, the management and governance system of the country will also be organized."
Pezeshkian further called on the head of the organization to finalize his plans and implement them at a pilot level in a region or administrative office.
To reform the current structure of the administrative system, the country needs public mobilization as well, he emphasized.
