The President pointed out that after the Zionist Regime's attack on the Iranian consulate, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that this regime will be punished for this and this promise was fulfilled with the efforts and hands of our zealous fighters, noting, “Operation True Promise was a very clear manifestation of revolutionary rationality and a beautiful manifestation of the cooperation of the field, diplomacy and media and proved that this is a strong Iran that can remove the shadow of war from the country and remove the military option from the table”.
Speaking on Tuesday evening in his 10th live televised interview, in response to a question about the implementation of the government's promises, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, “Of course, the dimensions and consequences of Operation True Promise should be examined in specialised meetings, but this operation was the crystallisation of the feeling of national pride, which became one of the turning points of consensus-building, and all people, currents, and thinkers of all tastes praised it”.
The President described the background of this operation as genocide, infanticide and the Zionist regime's crimes against humanity in Gaza and added, “Today's Gaza is a painting whose light, resistance, standing, patience of the resistant, oppressed and powerful people of Gaza and their reliance on God, and it also was a black and dark manifestation of the peak of brutality, crime, cruelty, genocide and infanticide of the Zionist regime”.
Dr Raisi stated that despite 7 months of continuous crimes by the Zionist regime in Gaza today, all experts believe that the winners of this field are the resistant Palestinians of Gaza and the losers are the Zionist regime and its supporters.
The President described the continuation of the crimes of the Zionist regime despite the acceptance of a ceasefire by Hamas as a shame and humiliation of the supporters of this regime before the eyes of the people of the world and clarified, “Today, the cry for justice is heard not only in universities in the Western world, but everywhere in the world, and it is these failures that have caused the Zionist regime to despair, and one of the manifestations of this despair was the attack on the consular building of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus, against all international regulations and frameworks”.

The President stated that Operation True Promise showed that we should enter the field with strength, and added, “We have always declared that it is this rational revolutionary discourse that has worked and moves the work forward, not a begging diplomacy”.
Dr Raisi described revolutionary rationality as the superior discourse and stated, “Some people thought that the COVID problem, which afflicted 700 households daily, could be solved with one or more phone calls, but the Popular Administration, relying on this discourse, solved the COVID problem and the provision of vaccines. One of the manifestations of revolutionary rationality was solving the problem of the vaccine for COVID, one was the membership in BRICS and Shanghai, and one was the implementation of Operation True Promise, and God willing, one of its manifestations will definitely be economic prosperity in the country”.
Emphasising that we believe that this approach will work, the President said, “What happened in this government was a change and a different approach that happened against the approach of begging diplomacy; We believe that this view can move us forward based on the speech of the Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader and what is expected by the people. We are a powerful country and we have many assets. Today, by God's grace, the shadow of war has been removed from the country with the effect that the Islamic Republic of Iran created with the Operation True Promise, and contrary to some who thought that a deal could be made with missiles, it has been proven that the shadow of war was not removed with such a power”.
Dr Raisi stated that many other issues can be solved with this effect of authority, and added, “The spillover effects of this authority can be seen in improving the economic situation and solving other problems. With this authority and depending on the country's assets, many things can be pursued”.
In response to another part of the program host's question that there was a concern that Iran's response to the Zionist regime's crime would exacerbate problems, but your analysis was that with this response, more problems were prevented, President said, “My opinion is that this operation was a display of authority and showed that Iran is in a position of authority and will show its effects in economic, social and other fields”.
Dr Raisi continued, “This operation showed that if the right decision is made at the right time and is implemented correctly, it can have very effective effects. The proof of this claim was this proud operation, whose appropriate decision-making, timely and correct implementation was able to create a consensus among all factions and all our fighters praised us”.
In response to the question that do you think that the solution to the country's problems is missiles, or negotiation, or both, President said, “We have emphasised many times that the Islamic Republic of Iran warmly shakes the hands of all countries that seek friendly relations with us, but some countries have always promoted Iranophobia in the past 45 years”.
Dr Raisi added, “Today, it has been proven for the countries of the region that Iran is their friend. Also, after 45 years when the people of Iran shouted that the Zionist regime is the enemy of the Muslim nations and the enemy of humanity, today all the people of the world, from America and Europe to other parts of the world, have come to this conclusion. Today, this belief has spread and as the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said, the issue of Palestine and Gaza is not only the issue of the Islamic Ummah, but the issue of the whole world”.
Referring to his recent meeting with the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and acknowledging the importance of the timely presence of Haj Qasem Soleimani and the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq and the Kurdistan region of this country in the face of the ISIS attack, the President said, “The people of Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan will never forget Iran's support to them against the enemy and these effects are also present in other countries of the region”.
Dr Raisi stated that the message of Operation True Promise was that Islamic Iran will stand up to those who want to be hostile to it with the full power and strength that exists in the country, and clarified. “Nevertheless, we never left the negotiation table. This government from the beginning was on this foundation to participate in any negotiation and express its logical and fully defensible opinion; it was not the Islamic Republic but the Americans and Europeans who repeatedly broke their promises”.
Referring to the 15 times that the International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed the peacefulness of our country's nuclear activities, the President noted, “However, these reports are not listened to, so can only negotiations solve the problem? No; Negotiations can be done, and where necessary, rockets can be used, that is, in fact, it can be said that rockets will be answered with rockets”.
Pointing out that the Popular Administration has been able to complete the construction of more than 2 million 400 thousand residential units in various stages, the President added, "In some sectors, we are even ahead of schedule, and in the rural housing sector, which the construction of 250,000 housing units was planned for this period, and we have reached 260,000 housing units”.
In response to the question of what the government has planned to curb inflation seriously, the President answered, “In order to curb and reduce inflation, we must eliminate its causes. The first thing that inflation creates is the "budget deficit" and we started with about 60% inflation. From the beginning, the government tried not to have a budget deficit; At the beginning of the work, when we took over the government, there was a budget deficit of about 480 trillion tomans, which we overcame not by borrowing and printing money, but by producing and creating new sources of income”.
Referring to the issue of poverty alleviation, Dr Raisi noted, “In this regard, we tried to provide free water, electricity, gas, and health insurance for needy families. Today, we are witnessing the empowerment of the relief and welfare committee's clients. In the celebration that was held recently, 10,000 clients were removed from the coverage of the relief committee due to empowerment, and a total of 100,000 people have been removed from the coverage of the relief committee in this way”.
The president stated that we in the government have always tried to provide the capacities of the country to the sectors that need more and have received less attention, adding, “For example, measures have been taken for roads, water and rural sports facilities to ensure distributional justice in this field. In the last three years, the water tension of 5 thousand villages has been solved”.
While emphasising the special view of the 13th Administration in the field of sports justice, the President referred to the recent conference honouring sports champions and said, “Some sports groups said in this conference that they were attending such a meeting and conference for the first time. This is our view in the government towards the field of justice”.
Stating that today the government claims to fight corruption, the President said, “We have implemented the promise of the guidance patrol of the managers. This guidance patrol is working both in Tehran and across the country, and while being present at the departments, it gives the necessary warnings and removes people wherever it is necessary”.
Dr Raisi said, “I have said many times that anyone who is inefficient in any responsibility should be changed to pave the way for the spirit of change and the government can implement the change”.
In response to another question about the government's actions in the field of social justice and also the creation of social vitality in the society, the President said, “Another manifestation of the government's effort to implement social and cultural justice was justice in the distribution of cultural products, especially books, in last year's book fair, where more than one million and 600 thousand books were sent to villages and different parts of the country, and the same planning has been done for this year's book fair”.
In response to a question about the issue of chastity and hijab in society and the government's plans to respond to people's concerns in this regard, the President clarified, “Throughout history, the women of our land have lived a chaste life, which has always been famous and fortunately, it has been the same until today”.
Dr Raisi continued by stating that the issue of chastity and hijab is both a Shariah and a legal duty and stated, “Some may not adhere to Shariah issues, but adherence to the law is definitely necessary and emphasised, and the government's efforts in this field is also to implement the law”.
The President mentioned the humiliation of the Iranian-Islamic society as one of the enemy's conspiracies against the Iranian nation and added, "Undoubtedly, our cultured and religious people will fail the enemy in achieving this goal. All the women and girls of our country adhere to the preservation of chastity and hijab, which is rooted in their beliefs, and if in some cases inattention to this issue is observed, it should be pointed out, and those who are planning to break the norm will also be dealt with according to legal criteria”.
Dr Raisi continued to remind the duty of various institutions regarding the issue of chastity and hijab and said, “If all institutions fulfil their duties in this field, a significant part of the problems will definitely be solved”.
In response to a question about the holding of the Majlis elections and the government's expectations from the new parliament, the President stated, “One of the honours of the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran is that all its institutions were formed by the people's vote, and the most important of them is the Majlis that has an important place in setting the country's policies”.
In another part of this live televised interview, the President said in response to a question about the government's measures to create employment in the country, “At the beginning of the government's work, like the issue of housing, we promised to the people to create one million jobs per year as the country's need. And today we are proud to announce to our dear people that the government has fulfilled its promise and according to statistics, nearly 3 million jobs have been created in the country in the last 3 years”.
Dr Raisi further clarified, “In this regard, the unemployment rate has reached 5% in some provinces. In some provinces, the unemployment rate is not a serious problem, but the unemployment rate is still high in about 3 or 4 provinces of the country, and the government is trying to create employment by creating jobs and reduce it to the lowest possible level in these provinces”.
At the end of his address to the great and noble nation of Iran, Dr Raisi said, "We are loyal to our promise, we will definitely be a government that is true to its promises. You can be sure that your needs and problems are our problem and will be followed up by the government until they are resolved”.
The President called national unity the key to the success and continuity of the country's progress and added, “As the Iranian nation has made the enemy desperate with its presence, it will definitely defeat the enemy more than ever with its presence, courage, standing and resistance”.
