Stating that the country's executive system trusts the digital economy sector professionals and will follow up on possible issues and challenges faced in the sector, the President urged e-commerce professionals to recognise the issues and problems and provide solutions to them in providing services to the people and play a role in improving their quality of life.

Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, in his 4th Ramadan meeting with various guilds, held a meeting with a group of e-commerce professionals on Saturday afternoon.
In this meeting, after listening to the opinions and views of 15 digital business owners, the President described the technology and innovation ecosystem in today's world as the driver of development and one of the country's requirements and priorities, stating that the entry of knowledge-based people into the field of artificial intelligence and the centrality of talented and creative youth in the realisation of technological advances is promising and bright.
Referring to the 8% growth target for the country's economy and the need to improve productivity to achieve economic growth and production boom, Dr Raisi considered the contribution of the digital economy very important and effective in achieving these goals through job creation, investment return speed, high productivity and cost reduction.
The President described the approach of the Popular Administration to the digital economy as an opportunity-oriented and transformative view, and referring to the large investments of different countries to boost digital businesses, emphasised artificial intelligence in this regard.
Dr Raisi considered the regulations for digital business professionals as the missing link to maintain the lead in this field, and complaining about the lack of work in the past in the regulatory field of the digital economy, he called for the continuation of ongoing measures to accelerate updating and compensation of backwardness.
Emphasising the public sector's avoidance of any competition with the private sector in any field, the President clarified, "The role of the government is to support, guide, monitor and also create a basis for healthy competition in providing quality services in the country's economy".
Dr Raisi described the necessary measures to streamline digital businesses and added, "Creating a healthy, competitive and peaceful environment with easy access to domestic and foreign markets is one of the essentials for the prosperity of the digital economy for the activists of this sector".
