The President entered Sistan and Baluchistan province in order to inaugurate several construction projects and follow up on the progress of the Makoran coasts' strategic project.
Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi arrived in the province on Thursday morning and was welcomed by the provincial officials in Konarak Airport.
Following up on the progress of the strategic project Makoran Coasts Development, the official start of the Kahir Dam water extraction, rural water supply operations and the start of the implementation of the water supply project from the Sea of Oman to the provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan, South Khorasan and Razavi Khorasan, are among Dr Raisi's travel plans to Sistan and Baluchistan.
In this trip, the President will also open a border bazaar as one of the 6 bazaars being set up between Iran and Pakistan, as well as a substation and electricity exchange line between the two countries, with Mr Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, taking part.
