The President described it very important to introduce Martyr Borujerdi's personality to the young generation and while praising the actors of Gharib film about a part of the life of this great Martyr, he stated, "Our young people must know what effort this noble Martyr had in the atmosphere of despair of that era and established hope and security in every city".

Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, who has travelled to West Azerbaijan province in order to inaugurate the water transfer system to Lake Urmia, visited the memorial of Martyr Mohammad Boroujerdi, the commander of the conquerors of the Western Fronts during the Sacred Defenced period, in the city of Naqadeh, and paid tribute to him and the martyrs of the Revolution.
The President also congratulated Imam Hussein's (PBUH) birthday and Revolutionary Guard's Day and said, "Every inch of Islamic Iran is witness to the selflessness of Revolutionary Guards and armed forces, and I, as a student and an official, pay my respects to all these dear ones, and all the people of Iran should always be grateful for their bravery and sacrifices".

The President continued, "Even today, the enemy seeks to create despair, and what our enlightened leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, wants from us is to move forward with hope, trust in God, perseverance, effort, and redoubled activity".
Ayatollah Raisi further called the epic participation of the people in the Feb. 11 demonstrations as well as the attendance at the martyrs' memorials as valuable spiritual assets of the country and added, "These valuable assets should be preserved by passing them on to the young generation".
The President added, "Our young generation should know that once Western countries did not even give us barbed wire, but today, due to the efforts of experts and scientists of this country and despite all the sanctions and pressures, the most advanced industries and defence equipment are produced in the country, and many countries are requesting it".
Referring to the opening of the big project to transfer water to Lake Urmia, Dr Raisi said, "Western countries are just making claims in the field of environment, while today one of the biggest environmental projects in the West Asia region was opened in the Islamic Republic of Iran".
