The President visited the first single-stage tyre production line (UNI STAGE) at the Kavir Tyre factory in Birjand, which was completely built inside the country.
On Thursday morning during the visit of the Popular Administration to South Khorasan province, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi went to the Kavir Tyre factory as the largest industrial and production complex of the province and visited the various production departments and the interior parts exhibition of this factory.
Upon his arrival at the Kavir Tyre factory, the President visited the single-stage production line of this factory, which was built and put into operation for the first time by the efforts of local experts.
Ayatollah Raisi also visited the production line of SUV and CUV tyres that are designed and manufactured in the country, which have led to self-sufficiency in the production of these types of tyres in the country.
At the end of his visit, Dr Raisi met with the workers of this factory and thanked the efforts of all managers and workers of this industrial unit and said, "Today we witnessed the knowledge-based approach and localisation of the latest technologies in this factory, which is a source of happiness and value".
The President pointed out that according to the report presented by the factory managers, its products are not only competitive with the best and newest products in the world, but also have a qualitative superiority over them, and stated, "This is a clear example of the implementation of the slogan of the year, 'Production; knowledge-based, job-creating'".
Ayatollah Raisi stated, "The product of your efforts, the workers, engineers and managers of Kavir Tyre factory, is the production of wealth and power for the country. The production of power is not only in the production of weapons and military equipment, but the production of quality and up-to-date products effectively produces power and wealth for the country, and for this I sincerely appreciate all of you".
The President also referred to the establishment of this factory by the people and the significant number of public shareholders of this industrial unit and said, "This industrial unit is a good proof for the claim that wherever the work is entrusted to the people, it has gone well and shows that people should be involved".
