The Ghadir Water Supply Project of Khuzestan province was inaugurated in the presence of Ayatollah Raisi in order to supply water to 26 cities and 1000 villages of the province. The Ghadir Water Supply Project in Khuzestan province was put into operation at noon on Friday in the presence of Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi.The implementation of this important project was started in 2008, but until last year, it had progressed less than 50%, which, with Dr Raisi's emphasis that the people of Khuzestan province should benefit from quality water in the shortest possible time, it was put into operation.This huge project will supply drinking water to nearly 4.7 million people of the population of Khuzestan province.
