The President emphasised on the activation of inactive mines in Kerman province as soon as possible and urged the Plan and Budget Organisation to allocate the share of the social responsibility of the province's mines to provide the basis for spending this amount on the development and progress of Kerman.

Achieving gov't goals in Kerman requires careful planning to use the capacities of the province/ Supreme Council of Mines should urgently investigate the reason why 200 mines of Kerman province remain unused

Speaking in the meeting of the administrative council of Kerman province on Friday evening, while offering his condolences for the days of mourning for Imam Hussein (AS), Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, "One of the important aspects of this great event is management implications of Imam Hussain (AS) in Ashura, which caused this event to remain alive forever and become the source of human transformations in the universe".
The President continued to consider Martyr Soleimani's school as an extension of the Ashura movement and said, "In the city and homeland of Martyr Soleimani, it is very important that the managers consider the different aspects of the school of this noble martyr, especially the manifestation of the belief of 'WE CAN', in their activities".
Dr Raisi described the continuity of Martyr Soleimani's school as sincerity in action, striving to solve the problems of the people and philanthropy and said, "Today, the serious need of the country and the demand of the Supreme Leader is to solve people's problems, which cannot be realised except with a jihadist spirit and a revolutionary outlook".
The President stated that the existing poverty and deprivation is not what Kerman province deserves, and addressed the managers of the province, "The government is determined to change this situation and you have the duty to employ motivated and transformational personnel in this direction and pave the way to solve the problems".
Ayatollah Raisi said that the realisation of the government's goals in Kerman province requires careful planning to use the capacities of this province, and criticising the fact that a large part of Kerman's mineral capacities remain unused, he said, "Why are 200 mines in Kerman province still inactive? The Supreme Council of Mines should immediately investigate the cause, if the fault lies with the user, the mine should be handed over to the competent people".
The President also ordered the Plan and Budget Organisation to allocate 15 percent of the social responsibilities of the mines of Kerman province and use them in the development and progress of the province.
The President mentioned the Jiroft flood as one of the priority issues of Kerman province and said, "Rain is a blessing and should not become a threat due to lack of attention to infrastructure. Therefore, it is necessary for the officials of this field to seriously follow the issue of building dams, especially in this part of Kerman province".
Dr Raisi also stressed the acceleration of solving the problem of Kerman water by implementing the project of transferring it from the Persian Gulf, saying, "Basically, the purpose of the provincial visits is to create morale and motivation for work and to accelerate the resolution of problems".
The President also said about the issue of immigrants and foreign nationals, "These people are our guests, but by identifying them, their various issues, from transportation to business, education and marriage, will be registered in one system".
Ayatollah Raisi emphasised special attention to the development of resistance tourism in Kerman province and said, "Kerman province has long been a region with advanced civilisation and tourism, and after the martyrdom of General Soleimani, resistance tourism has also been added to its capacities and it is necessary to build infrastructure to provide accommodation and transportation for pilgrims who visit Martyr Soleimani's tomb throughout the year".
The President further pointed to the problem of suburbanisation in Kerman province and said, "Today, almost all our villages have roads, water, electricity, and health facilities, but due to the inefficiency of agriculture, farmers do not stay in the villages and migrate to the outskirts of cities".
In the final part of his speech, Dr Raisi said to the provincial managers, "Today, the duty of all of us is to serve the people sincerely. After 43 years of the Islamic Revolution and despite the great works that have been done, there are still some shortcomings and people expect us to finish the works left on the ground in a jihadist way".
The President considered the complex administrative bureaucracy as a barrier to the production and development of the province and said, "My request to you is that after the resolutions have been announced, you should prepare the ground for their implementation with your jihadist efforts and do not wait for administrative and structural obstacles".
