The President considered the self-sufficiency, independence and honour of the country dependent on the strengthening of the production boom and said, "Today, production is the central issue of the country and all government, private and cooperative sectors should try to make the production in the country flourish and the existing obstacles on the way to achieve this goal be fixed".
Dr Raisi called the economic actors the officers of the country's production field and added, "Today, whatever production, employment and knowledge-based activities are strengthened in the country, it is a source of hope for friends and despair for the enemy".
Saying that today is the battle of wills, Ayatollah Raisi added, "The enemy does not want us to progress, but we will be victorious in this arena with the trust in the Almighty, self-belief and jihadist efforts".
Saying that Iran is full of diverse and valuable capacities, Mr Raisi emphasised on the popularisation of the country's economy and added, "The government is determined to hand over its governance to the private and cooperative sectors and be in the position of guidance, support and supervision".
Emphasising the fundamental belief of the 13th Administration in the country's domestic power and capacities, the President considered some of the shortcomings in the country's growth and development process in the past as affected by the hope for outsiders and said, "In the Popular Administration we believe that we can build the country by relying on our own resources".
The President stated that no one has the right to stop the country's growth and progress for any reason, and added, "The way to accelerate the country's progress is to remove internal obstacles and facilitate interactions and exchanges with neighbouring and friendly countries, and the Popular Administration has taken successful steps in this direction".
Dr Raisi listed the attraction of domestic and foreign investment as one of the important measures taken by the government in the direction of preparing domestic conditions for production boom and said, "So far, 3 memoranda of participation in the provision of capital have been concluded with the participation of large economic enterprises, which will have brought significant results for the prosperity of the national economy".
In another part of his speech, the President called wise management combined with proper planning another priority of the country in facing problems, referring to the example of managing the electricity shortage this summer, and said, "Everyone witnessed that despite the shortage of electricity generation, supply and consumption in this summer was managed in such a way that power outages did not bother people, and this proved that deficiencies and shortcomings can be overcome with proper management".
Ayatollah Raisi also referred to the government's planning to compensate for the shortcomings in the electricity production sector and stated, "The increase of 35 thousand megawatts of electricity generation capacity has commenced, of which 10 thousand megawatts will be supplied from solar power, and Kerman province has an important position in this regard".
The President further pointed out the necessity of using the existing capacities and advantages in Kerman for the development of this province and stated, "The implementation of subsurface water supply projects can transform the huge agricultural capacities of Kerman province. Also, Kerman, as the paradise of the country's mines, has more than 50 minerals that can be extracted, and the optimal and knowledge-based exploitation of these resources can play a significant role in the economic growth and promotion of the country's independence".
In another part of his speech, the President referred to the appreciation of economic actors for the government's action to reform the method of allocating subsidies for basic goods and said, "Completing this action requires taking other steps, which is to reduce and eliminate the gap between unsubsidised and subsidised currency".
Ayatollah Raisi referred to the topics raised about taxes by the economic actors present in this meeting and added, "I have already emphasised that the principle of trust should be in collecting taxes from guilds and economic activists, because guilds and economic activists are at the forefront of the fight against oppressive sanctions and foreign restrictions and they are the defenders of the country's livelihood and economy".
In the final part of his speech, the President announced the government's serious will to reduce unemployment in Kerman province and said, "In a province that has so much capacity in various fields, it is not fair that people are facing the problem of unemployment.
