On Thursday evening, at the end of the 30th leg of the provincial tour of the Popular Administration, this time to Hamedan province, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said in a press conference, "From the first days of the Popular Administration's term, I was following up on solving the water problem in Hamedan and one of the priorities of Hamedan's governor general was to speed up the implementation of the water supply plan from Talvar dam".
The President stated that unfortunately the completion of this project has been delayed for nearly 17 years, and added, "In recent months, the amount of work has been done for several years and the delays of this plan have been compensated, and based on the investigations, it was decided that this plan will be completed by the next 2 months and put into operation".

The President stated that one of the reasons for the migration of villagers to the outskirts of cities is the lack of economic benefits for farmers and villagers, "If the agricultural economy is activated, the rural economy will prosper and we will witness the cessation of the emptying of the villages".
Explaining the requirements for creating prosperity in the agricultural economy, Dr Raisi noted, "The first requirement for making agriculture affordable is to solve water supply problems. In this context, reforming water resource management is the most important action, and along with that, reforming the cultivation pattern should be done".
The President continued, "In addition to managing water resources and reforming the cultivation pattern, paying loans to farmers and guaranteeing the purchase of products in the form of contract farming are also among the effective measures that will help the rural economy and agricultural economy to prosper".
In response to a question about the government's plans to solve the problem of high housing prices in Hamedan, Dr Raisi said, "Unfortunately, in the past years, there has been insufficient work to provide enough housing units in the country, which is about 1 million units per year, and the Popular Administration has started its job".
