Appreciating the constant support of the people and standing for the ideals of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Revolution, the President said, "The enemy knows that these people are always ready to stand up for defending the country, the Revolution, the values and the Guardian of Islamic Jurist".
Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi paid tribute to the families of nearly 700 honourable martyrs of Kabudarahang city, pious and revolutionary men, history-making women and vigilant young people of the city, in a meeting with the people of Kabudarahang on Thursday morning.
Pointing out that in its history, Kabudarahang has a history of fighting and standing against the tyrannical regime, a history of accompanying Imam Khomeini, and a brilliant record during the Sacred Defence, and a history of standing in various stages of the history of the Islamic Revolution, the President added, "The people of Kabudarahang are true believers, revolutionary, and noble, and it is an honour for me to be among these people".
Dr Raisi stated that the most important component of the national power and security of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the pious people, and stated, "We are proud of the country's military forces, weaponry power and military power, but we must know that what has prevented the enemy from attacking this country is the religious people".
Saying that what we are witnessing in the world today is a war of wills, Ayatollah Raisi said, "The will of the enemy is to stop the Iranian nation from continuing the path of the Revolution, values and martyrs despite all the ideals and values it believes in. On the other hand, our nation has decided to continue this path with strength despite all the threats and sanctions, and relying on the slogan of "WE CAN" does not consider any sanctions and threats as an obstacle".
The President described the official admission of the United States about the disgraceful failure of the policy of maximum pressure against the Iranian nation as a great victory for our country and stated, "As your servants, we consider it our duty to stand up and resist against the domination system in accordance with the vigilant Leader and the will of the great Iranian nation".
"This is on our agenda to resist the dominators and the system of domination, and never back down from the positions in favour of the Islamic Republic of Iran," he said.
Dr Raisi pointed out, "The efforts of various people generate power and authority for the country; Be it the dear member of the armed forces who is working to protect the integrity of this border or the dear farmer who is working on his land under the sun to ensure the country's food security".
Referring to the words of the Friday Prayer Imam and the people's representative in the Majlis, the President said, "The first concern raised was related to agriculture, and agriculture in this city should be more prosperous, but there are problems in the water supply issue that need to be corrected, and improving water resources management can help solve this problem".
Ayatollah Raisi also described the modification of the cultivation pattern as one of the other effective solutions in the field of adaptation to water scarcity and added, "People's cooperation is an effective factor in dealing with the problem of water scarcity, one of the important examples of which is the modification of the cultivation pattern".
In the continuation of his speech, Dr Raisi referred to the issue of roads in the region and people's complaints in this regard and clarified, "Solving the problem of roads in Kabudarahang city and surrounding areas is one of the priorities of the trip".
The President considered solving the unemployment problem as one of his and the government's other concerns and noted, "Some people consider work to be just sitting behind the office desk, first of all, this mentality should be corrected. The best and most useful work is done by farmers, ranchers, craftsmen and other similar professions. However, the concern of employment for young people is a valid concern that is also the concern of the government".
Ayatollah Raisi said, "The government has considered providing good credits for creating employment, especially rural employment, which can reduce the employment problem to a great extent with the diligent follow-up of the relevant officials in the province".
