Saying that Hamadan Province is the cradle of many scholars, poets and sages, Ayatollah Raisi noted, "Not only Hamadan itself, but our country and the World of Islam have benefited from the intellectuals of this province throughout different periods of history".
Upon entering the Capital of History and Civilisation on Thursday, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi called Hamedan a historical and civilised province and said, "Hamedan province is a reminder of the bravery of warriors in the Sacred Defence. Offering 8 thousand martyrs and more than 27 thousand veterans is a source of pride for me and the government".
Saying that Hamadan Province is the cradle of many scholars, poets and sages, Ayatollah Raisi noted, "Not only Hamadan itself, but our country and the World of Islam have benefited from the intellectuals of this province throughout different periods of history".
Referring to the capacities of the region, Dr Raisi stated, "Agriculture, tourism and mining are the symbols of the capacities of the province, but the proper exploitation of these capacities faces obstacles and problems. However, despite the huge capacity of efficient, young and educated human resources in Hamadan province, many of these problems can be solved".
The President listed the priority of his visit to investigate the issues and problems of the province and emphasised that, God willing, we will take effective decisions and steps to solve people's problems in the meeting of the Administrative Council.
