Referring to the approval of 200 plans for economic development and prosperity in Kermanshah province, the President tasked the provincial employment centre with serious pursuit of eliminating unemployment and creating sustainable employment.
On Thursday evening, at the end of the 28th provincial visit of the government to Kermanshah province, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi explained the results and achievements of this trip and the government's plans for the growth of the province in a meeting with journalists, and said, "The warm gathering of the people of Kermanshah means a lot to me. It was a pleasant trip and I was interested in getting to know more about the people and their concerns".
The President added, "In the series of visits and meetings, it was found that the most central problem of the province is unemployment, which must be solved through the creation of sustainable employment, and the most funds are allocated to this issue".
Ayatollah Raisi continued, "11 projects were approved for this purpose, so that the funds allocated for job creation, which is a serious concern of the people and the government, will solve the concerns".
The President mentioned another action of the government during its visit to Kermanshah as the allocation of funds for infrastructure projects and said, "The roads of the province are very important, these roads can turn the province into a hub for exports and communication with neighbouring countries through transit, and for this, roads should be safe and usable".
Ayatollah Raisi described agriculture as the third most important issue in the province and stating that Kermanshah province is an agricultural hub, saying, "900 thousand hectares of agricultural land has turned the province into an agricultural hub and attention should be paid to contract farming and guaranteeing the purchase of products".
The President continued, "Transformational industries should also be taken into consideration. The absence of these industries forces us to sell raw materials that has no added value for the province and agriculture".
Dr Raisi announced that the other part of the funds allocated to Kermanshah is in the field of health and treatment and said, "A total of 200 projects were approved for the development of the province, which should be followed up seriously by the Vice-President for Executive Affairs, the governor-general, and the media".
Ayatollah Raisi called investment in Kermanshah province very important and stated, "Considering the province's capacities, domestic and foreign investment can lead to development".
The President said, "This year, we have targeted an economic growth of 8%, which can be achieved considering the country's capacities".
The President described curbing inflation as one of the main plans of the 13th Administration and said, "Both liquidity growth and monetary base can be controlled, and our decision is to have a disciplined government".
The President stated, "We are facing difficulties, but we decided that the government should work with discipline, and if the country's banking system also works with discipline, many problems will be solved".
Dr Raisi continued, "Among the other resolutions is drinking water for the provinde and the completion of 5 incomplete dams and water treatment plants".
The President said, "In the field of road and urban development, the completion of highways and freeways, and the widening and fixing of road defects to prevent accidents are on the agenda".
In the cultural and educational field, the President described the completion, renovation and construction of new schools to be the government's priority.
Dr Raisi also mentioned the completion and equipping of Taleghani, Islamabad and Dalaho hospitals among other government resolutions during the visit to Kermanshah province.
The President described the issue of employment to be the most central issue in Kermanshah province and said, "I emphasised that with the efforts of the provincial officials and my own cooperation, dear people and young people, families and especially educated people should not worry. In this regard, it was decided to establish and activate an employment centre under the supervision of the Vice-President for Executive Affairs, whose mission is to eliminate unemployment".
