The President instructed the governor-general of Kurdistan to assign the head of the county’s Veterans and Martyrs’ Affairs Foundation to visit the village of Qaleh Ji and similar areas and take care of the problems and injuries caused by the chemical bombing of the people, and stated, "I hope we can fulfil our duty towards you people during our term of responsibility in the right way”.

In continuation of the plans of the Popular Administration to Kurdistan province before noon on Friday, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi met with the residents of Qaleh Ji village, and said, "You people of Qaleh Ji village and the surrounding areas displayed exemplary resistance during the hard days of the war and made the country proud with your courage and bravery”.
The President added, "The people of these areas could have evacuated the area in the very days when the war started, but they stood up heroically and their standing and resistance is very valuable”.
Emphasising that we are always grateful for these sacrifices, Dr Raisi said, "If there is a lack of attention to the situation of the wounded and the problems caused by the chemical bombing of these areas, it does not mean that you, the people, are being neglected".
