The President called North Khorasan one of the agricultural hubs of the country and specified, "Special attention should be paid to the agriculture of the province. Also, due to the border of the province, border markets are a good ground for trade and commerce with the neighbouring country”.
Upon arrival in North Khorasan Province on Thursday morning to mark the 26th provincial tour of the Popular Administration, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, "North Khorasan has a very warm-hearted and hard-working people who really excelled in various fields”.
Referring to the infancy of North Khorasan province, the President added, "Although many years have passed since the formation of the province, it still does not have the conditions that a province should have due to some deprivations”.
“This is one of the points that our colleagues have examined before in the visit that they had and met with the representative of the Supreme Leader in the province, the governor-general, esteemed representatives and managers, officials and experts”.
Dr Raisi stated that some problems, such as the large number of semi-finished projects in different provinces, including this province, are the concerns of the people, saying, "In this government, we are not looking for starting a new project, but we are looking for the semi-finished projects that are making the people concerned”.

Referring to the naming of this year as "Production, Knowledge-Based and Employment-Creating", Ayatollah Raisi noted, "We have many educated people in North Khorasan Province, and we must provide opportunities and attractions for these people to find decent jobs in this province”.
The President called on the executive bodies to provide facilities to entrepreneurs who want to operate in the same province, and said, "What has been examined before the trip and during the trip will be finally reviewed at the meeting of the Administrative Council of the province, so that in the first step, they are finalised, and in the next step, we should seek the implementation of these resolutions”.
