At the suggestion of the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, the President appointed Dr Vahid Yaminpour as "Secretary of the Supreme Council of Youth Affairs".
Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi appointed Dr Vahid Yaminpour as the "Secretary of the Supreme Council of Youth Affairs" at the suggestion of the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, considering his commitment and merit.
Accordingly, due to the need to pay more serious attention to youth issues and provide the ground for greater influence, the position of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Youth Affairs will be upgraded and transferred under the Presidential Administration to pursue youth issues with more authority and capacity.
President's letter of appointment reads:

According to Paragraph (10) of Article (4) of the Statute of the Supreme Council of Youth Affairs approved by the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, and with regard to the suggestion of the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, you are being appointed as the "Secretary of the Supreme Council of Youth Affairs".
I wish you increasing success in performing your duties properly, serving the people, especially the young, realising the ideals of the Islamic system, and especially the Declaration of the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution.
