The 59th meeting of the Board of Trustees of Tarbiat Modares University was held this evening with Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi taking part.
In this meeting, which was also attended by the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, President of the University Dr Farhad Daneshjoo presented a report on the process of activities and educational and research achievements and the needs of this university to play a better role in various fields of education and research.
Referring to the important position of Tarbiat Modares University in the field of education, the President stressed the need to make better use of the capacity of this university to train educated and experienced teachers in the field of education and research and said, "Try to make Tarbiat Modares University become the centre of teacher training in the country along with its normal activities".

Dr Raisi stressed the need for all related institutions, including financial institutions, to support the development activities of universities, including Tarbiat Modares University.
Appointing the members of the Standing Committee of the Board of Trustees and the Science and Technology Park, establishing the International Campus of the University in the Arvand Free Zone, approving the University Audit Report and establishing the Development and Investment Organisation of Tarbiat Modares University were among the resolutions of the 59th Board of Trustees meeting.
