Referring to the statements of some of the speakers of the programme in explaining the current situation and the indicators that the country has been handed over to the new government, the President added, "The experts and scholars understand what conditions are imposed on the government”.

Ayatollah Raisi said, "Everyone who serves in the name of the Islamic system should try to build trust in society".

Regarding the remarks of another speaker on the observance of citizenship rights, Dr Raisi said, "The rights and duties of the people and the government are reciprocal. It is the responsibility of the government to lay the groundwork for the exercise of these rights, which must be pursued by all officials and statesmen”.

The President went on to say that South Khorasan, despite the lack of rainfall and drought, has a lot of potential in the mining field, adding, "Research institutes should be active on agricultural products such as saffron, barberry and jujube, and the government supports them to take the best advantage of these potentials”.

The President clarified, "To solve the problem of water shortage in the province, the transfer of water from the Oman Sea should be pursued as a necessary task”.

Ayatollah Raisi said, "The combination of the lives of dear Sunni and Shiite people living in the province with religious culture has made them immune to threats, and this is very important”.

In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Raisi stressed the need to support production centres and added, "We must impose taxes on unproductive economic activities. Productive activities have to pay less tax in order to be more prosperous”.

"Sanctions have created problems for people's lives, but some of these threats have created opportunities," he said, adding, "The government will not allow uncontrolled imports to affect the country's growing manufacturing sector”.
