Dr Raisi described China's strategic plans, such as the 'One Belt-One Road' initiative, in line with Iran's interests and said, "Full implementation of the Iran-China comprehensive cooperation plan should be on the agenda of all agencies of the two countries".

The President stated, "The Islamic Republic of Iran, with full support for the principle of a united China, condemns the blatant interference of the United States in the internal affairs of the country".

Appreciating China's strategic stance on unilateralism, Ayatollah Raisi thanked China for its cooperation with Iran in various international fields, including support for nuclear rights, Iran's membership in the Shanghai Pact, and opposition to sanctions against Iran.

The President described China's constructive role in countering corona, and in particular helping to provide vaccines to a large number of countries, as a valuable step and said, "We appreciate the Chinese government's cooperation in preventing the spread of coronavirus and selling vaccines to Iran, and we hope that the delivery of the millions of doses of purchased vaccines is accelerated".

Emphasising the need for joint cooperation in the fight against coronavirus, Dr Raisi said, "The politicisation of the source of the COVID-19 pandemic is a serious threat to global health and is an example of some countries' efforts to isolate China".

In another part of the phone call, referring to Iran's adherence to international treaties and criticising the US instrumental view of these treaties, Ayatollah Raisi added, "The United States must show in practice that it adheres to its obligations, the prerequisite to which is putting aside violation of its promises, lifting all sanctions and the immediate implementation of its obligations unconditionally and in full".

In another part of the conversation, the President stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate with China in establishing security, stability and peace in Afghanistan and contributing to development, progress and prosperity for the people of the country, adding, "We believe that the withdrawal of foreigners, as well as past experiences in the country, has highlighted the need for the support and participation of all Afghan groups to ensure the security and development of Afghanistan more than ever".

In this phone call, Chinese President Xi Jinping also expressed satisfaction with the fact that relations between the two countries have been developing over the past 50 years, regardless of changing international conditions, saying, "The relations between the two countries, especially after the agreement on comprehensive plan for cooperation between Iran and China, has had remarkable results and achievements".

Appreciating Iran's support for China's fundamental interests, the Chinese president said his country's support for Iran's formal membership in the Shanghai Pact was in the long-term interests of the organisation.

Praising the constructive cooperation between Iran and China during the COVID-19 pandemic, Xi Jinping said, "China will do its utmost to deliver the vaccine to Iran and help Iran overcome coronavirus".

The Chinese president praised Iran's support for China over the origins of coronavirus, saying that some Western countries have resorted to political games under the pretext of finding the root of coronavirus.

Welcoming the participation of the Iranian side in the "One Belt-One Road" initiative, the Chinese President announced Beijing's readiness to strengthen cooperation with Tehran in this field.

In another part of his speech, he stated that the United States has unilaterally withdrawn from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and put maximum pressure on Iran, saying, "This issue is the main source of the current nuclear crisis, and China supports Iran's reasonable demands".

Regarding Afghanistan, he stated that China and Iran have common interests and demands in this issue and have had good cooperation in recent years, adding, "In the new conditions, we are ready to strengthen coordination and cooperation".
