The 10th Summit of the D-8 Organisation for Economic Cooperation kicked off on Thursday with Dr Rouhani and the leaders of the member states taking part.
In the virtual summit hosted by Bangladesh as the current chair of the organization, leaders of Iran, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Turkey and Nigeria are taking part.
President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr Hassan Rouhani, is scheduled to address the summit and explain the views and positions of Iran in order to further strengthen relations and cooperation between the members of the D-8 organisation.
