Speaking on Wednesday evening in the meeting of the heads of the committees of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, Dr Hassan Rouhani re-expressed appreciation to the country's health and medical staff, and said, "By strictly observing health protocols, the opportunity will be provided for Nowruz trips to be carried out in a managed wat and we will not have to impose new restrictions".

The President instructed the relevant agencies to closely monitor the observance of health protocols related to Nowruz trips, and said, "It is necessary that these instructions are clearly and unambiguously designed, compiled and informed to the people".

Dr Rouhani said, "The advertising committee should plan and inform the country's media about the protocols related to Nowruz and their training with special planning and using all the media capacities of the country, especially the national media".

Dr Rouhani said that the prosperity of business activities, especially businesses related to the new year, is essential, but the strict implementation of protocols should also be considered.

The President stressed that the closure of face-to-face education, despite all commendable efforts regarding e-learning, has resulted in students' academic failure and, of course, nothing will replace face-to-face education.

Dr Rouhani said that the presence of students in educational environments is inevitable to maintain the quality of education, but the health of students and teaching staff is a priority and education and health should not be allowed to overshadow each other.

The President stated, "It is necessary for families to be psychologically assured that they should not worry about the health of their children in the process of face-to-face education".

Dr Rouhani once again reminded of the need to take care of the country's air, land and water borders in connection with the arrival of the mutated virus, and stressed, "The necessary measures should be taken in a timely and accurate manner".

The President expressed hope that by providing the vaccine in a timely manner, we will be able to immunise vulnerable people in the society before the end of the year, based on the priorities stipulated in the National Vaccination Document.

Due to the outbreak of the disease in several provinces, especially Khuzestan province, the President called for immediate and special action to curb the further spread of the disease in these provinces.
