In a letter of appointment, President Rouhani appointed Dr Yekta Ashrafi as "Member of the Competition Council Board of Appeals" as proposed by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance.
President Hassan Rouhani's letter of appointment reads:

Dear Dr Yekta Ashrafi,
According to Part (b) of Paragraph (1) of Article (64) and Paragraph (2) of Article (55) of the Law on Amending Articles of the Fourth Economic, Social and Cultural Development Plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and implementing the policies of Article (44) of the Constitution, upon the proposal of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, you are hereby appointed as the "Member of the Competition Council Board of Appeals".
I wish you and the other honourable members of the council success in carrying out your duties by observing the principles of rule of law, moderation and the Code of Ethics of the Government of Prudence and Hope in serving Islam and the noble people of Iran.
