President Rouhani appointed Dr Mohammad Nahavandian as Vice-President for Economic Affairs.
President Rouhani's letter of appointment reads:

According to Article 124 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran and based on your commitment and experience, you are being appointed as "Vice-President for Economic Affairs".
I pray to the Almighty for your success in serving the country and the noble people of Iran, upholding the principles of the rule of law, moderation and code of ethics of the Administration of Prudence and Hope.
