President Hassan Rouhani was officially welcomed by his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev upon arrival in Baku. During the welcoming ceremony, national anthems of Iran and Azerbaijan were played and members of Iranian and Azeri delegations introduced to each other. The two presidents immediately started talks after the welcoming ceremony. Head of Presidential Office and Chief of Staff Mohammad Nahavandian, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Ali Tayebnia, Governor of Central Bank Valiollah Seif, and some other senior government officials are accompanying President Rouhani on this two-day visit to Baku, Azerbaijan.
