Arrival in Algiers

Dr Raisi before leaving for Algeria: Strengthening Iran-Algeria ties will help improve level of our relations with African countries/ Iran, Algeria active role in regional organisations, World of Islam has brought us closer to each other than before

The President stated that Iran, as one of the largest producers and exporters of gas, and due to its extensive connections with the countries of the Persian Gulf region and Central Asia, can become a regional hub for gas production and export, and said, "This capacity should be introduced to the world in order to provide the basis for strengthening Iran's interactions with other gas producing and exporting countries".

To make a bilateral visit and participate in GECF summit; Dr Raisi leaves Tehran for Algeria capital, Algiers

The President left Tehran for Algiers, the capital of Algeria, at the head of the high-level economic and political delegation in order to conduct an official bilateral meeting and also to participate in the 7th Summit of Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).

Referring to the determination of the Presidents of Iran and Türkiye to improve the level of relations, the President described the role of Iranians living in Türkiye important in actualising the decisions taken for the development of the relations between the two countries and stated, “In addition to the economic field, the development of cultural relations between the two countries is also very important”.

At the end of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s visit to Türkiye, the two countries issued a joint statement while emphasising the necessity of trying to maximise the volume of trade between them, condemning the crimes of the usurping Zionist regime against the oppressed people of Gaza and demanding an immediate end to the attacks by the Israeli regime, unconditional and immediate stop of the cruel blockade of the Gaza Strip and the immediate, sufficient and unimpeded delivery of essential goods and services to the Palestinian people.
