Questioning the functioning of the UN Security Council, the President stated, “When the United States, by sending equipment and weapons to the Zionist Regime, participates in its crimes against the defenceless people of Gaza and prevents the issuance of a resolution condemning these crimes in the UN Security Council, there is no hope for this council to play a role in maintaining world peace”.

While announcing his opposition to the presence and interference of outsiders in the Caucasus region, the President emphasised the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran to resolve the issues of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia through dialogue.

The President described it necessary to improve the level of relations between Tehran and Baku and to counter the plots designed to sow discord and disrupt relations between the two countries and said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran, as a powerful neighbour of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, is fully prepared to help resolve their differences".

The President described preventing the greed of hegemons among the expectations of people from the United Nations, and by stating that war-mongering is the nature of great powers, he called the measures of this organisation necessary to prevent these dangerous procedures that disrupt global peace and stability, and he emphasised Iran's readiness to participate in the expansion of peace and security in the world and prevention of oppression to nations.

Presidents of Iran and Kyrgyzstan meet; Dr Raisi: Obstacles to development of relations between Iran and Kyrgyzstan, including delay in holding a joint commission, should be removed as soon as possible/ Iran's readiness to share scientific achievements with Kyrgyzstan / Japarov: The two countries have very good capacities to develop relations

Referring to the remarkable scientific progress of Iranian youth despite the cruel sanctions, Dr Raisi suggested to the President of Kyrgyzstan to spend more time in his trip to Tehran so that he can visit Iran's science and technology parks and learn about the achievements of Iran's youth.
