The President described efforts to strengthen relations with Muslim countries as well as creating synergy in Islamic societies as one of the priorities of his government's foreign policy and emphasised the need for the unity of the Islamic Ummah in confronting the Zionists' brutality and stopping the crimes of this regime in Gaza.

The president stated that the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the cause of defending the oppressed, including the Palestinian nation, and the cause of the liberation of al-Quds, will not change with the change of governments, and said, "Supporting the cause of the oppressed Palestinian nation will continue with strength and no factor can undermine our will in this direction".
