Azerbaijani PM meets with the President

Japanese PM's special envoy meets with the President; Dr Pezeshkian: Let's not allow problems caused by actions of some foreign powers in relations between the two countries to continue/ Special Envoy of Japanese PM: Mr Kishida is eager to have a face-to-face conversation with your Excellency about development of cooperation

Welcoming the proposal and expressing the interest of the Japanese government for a face-to-face meeting and negotiation between the heads of the two countries in order to develop cooperation, the President stated, "Iran and Japan have always had friendly relations, and we should not allow problems caused by the actions of some foreign powers in the relations between the two countries to continue".

The president described it necessary to deepen and develop the relations between the neighbours and the countries of the region to deal with the interference of outsiders in the regional issues and said, "Iran and Iraq are friends and supporters of each other in hardships and strive to provide mutual benefits".

Stating that the enemies and ill-wishers of Iran and Saudi Arabia are seeking to sow discord between the two countries in order to achieve their illegitimate demands, the president added, "Iran and Saudi Arabia must thwart such conspiracies with vigilance, unity and cohesion".

Stating that Iran and Egypt are two brotherly countries whose peoples have mutual interest in each other, the president referred to the ancient, brilliant and proud civilisation history of the two countries and expressed hope that the problems facing the normalisation of relations between the two countries will be completely resolved as soon as possible.
