President at the meeting of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus:

Ignoring health protocols dangerous/ Media, influential people should encourage people to be vaccinated

Referring to the widespread vaccination in the country and its effect on improving the situation in terms of reducing the number of infected and dead, the President said, "These achievements do not mean ignoring and not following health protocols and normalisation is dangerous and can pave the way for a new wave of disease”.

Speaking on Saturday at the meeting of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, "The mass media, especially the IRIB, should continue to provide accurate and convincing information about the necessity of vaccination and also advise to observe health protocols seriously”.
The president called on influential people in local communities and different provinces of the country to encourage people to be vaccinated.
Referring to the need to activate the Commission for Supervision of the Implementation of the Resolutions of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, Ayatollah Raisi said, "The resolutions of the task force must be implemented accurately and completely, and this supervision is a precondition for success".
The President also congratulated the arrival of the month of Rabi al-Awal, saying, "In this month, we are witnessing an increase in celebrations by the people, and it is necessary to avoid unnecessary gatherings, or if necessary, to observe health protocols in full".
Mr Raisi continued by emphasising the need for scientific and research efforts and not closing the door to research in the field of corona treatment, saying, "Traditional medicine has ideas and opinions in the field of combating diseases, and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education can verify them”.
The President went on to say that, we should gradually move towards restoring face-to-face education, saying, "With widespread vaccination, we will see face-to-face education in schools".
Ayatollah Raisi also stressed the need for regular and complete presence of employees in departments to answer and do people's affairs.
