President Hassan Rouhani underlined Iran's willingness to broaden relations with countries, especially African countries.

Iran - Guinea presidents call for development of bilateral relations
“The Islamic Republic of Iran uses all its potentials aimed at expansion of capacities for development of broader ties with all world countries, especially the African countries,” said President Hassan Rouhani .
President said in a meeting with Guinea president on the sidelines of the 69th annual session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
He said that the two countries can after identifying the fields for bilateral cooperation especially in economic, cultural and economic fields take the required steps for broadening cooperation in them.
President Rouhani referring to Iran’s negotiation with G5+1 appreciated Guinea’s stand to support Iran in the United Nations.
President Jose Mario Vaz, too, said in the meeting for his part that Guinea-Bissau has always praised Iran’s foreign policy that is truly non-aligned, and neither dependent on the East, not on the West block.
“Iran has advanced noticeably in various fields in the post-revolution era and can assist Guinea, especially in agriculture, dam construction and mine exploitation fields,” said the Guinea president.
