Heads of three branches of Iranian govt. discuss ways to address country’s main imbalances  

The heads of the three branches of the Iranian government, namely the Executive, the Judiciary and the Legislative held a meeting hosted by President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss ways to remove the main imbalances faced by the country.

Pezeshkian meets Golestan Province officials, emphasizes collective efforts to resolve problems  

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said that his government welcomes cooperation by any individual who can contribute to resolving the existing problems through working within the framework of the general policies of the system. 

Pezeshkian: Govt. to do all it can to help Semnan Province develop 

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said that his government is determined to help in the development of Semnan Province, but stressed that provincial officials should also have full cooperation in this regard to accelerate the growth of their region. 

President: Govt. determined to give private sector greater role in addressing issues 

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that his government is cooperating with other branches of the Islamic system in order to pave the way for facilitating economic activities by the private sector in an effort to resolve the existing problems. 

President Pezeshkian vows government will curb fuel smuggling

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the Headquarters for Combating Commodity and Foreign Exchange Smuggling. The meeting focused on fuel smuggling to which the president promised to bring an end amid current shortages of electricity and gas for households and industries.
