Stating that Iran's foreign policy is a comprehensive and balanced one, based on convergence and economic multilateralism and the development of relations with the economic hubs of Asia, the President stated, "We started building trust in the first step, and today the trust among countries to cooperate with the Islamic Republic of Iran is increasing in a favourable way".

After a two-day visit to Indonesia; Dr Raisi returns to Tehran

The President, who visited the country at the official invitation of Indonesian President Joko Widodo, returned to Tehran a few minutes ago.

The President described the timely understanding and announcement of the position of Indonesian clerics regarding the issues of the Islamic world as very important and emphasised the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to cooperate with Indonesian Islamic organisations with the aim of simultaneously raising the level of cultural and economic interactions with the country.

Describing his talks with the Indonesian authorities as constructive, the President considered these talks as showing the serious will of the two countries to develop relations and use the mutual capacities for the benefit of the two nations and the nations of the region, and expressed hope that this visit would be a turning point in the development of relations between Tehran and Jakarta.

The President, who had travelled to Indonesia at the official invitation of his Indonesian counterpart, left for Iran after meeting with the President, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Speaker of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly and meeting with the Secretary General of ASEAN.

Stating that the enemy is looking for Islamophobia in the world and Iranophobia among Muslims, the President noted, "But today, the Muslims of the world know that their best friend who thinks about their honour and independence, and considers their insecurity as insecurity for itself is Islamic Iran".
