After the two-day official trip; Dr Raisi leaves Nicaragua for Cuba

The President left Managua for Havana, the capital of Cuba, after finishing his official trip to Nicaragua.

The President stated, "It is very important to connect independent countries and use mutual capacities. Cooperation between Latin American countries and other independent countries with each other in different regions can create an alliance that both neutralises sanctions and increases the capacity of independent countries".

The high-ranking delegations of Iran and Nicaragua signed 3 cooperation documents in the presence of the two countries' Presidents.

Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi attended the National Assembly of Nicaragua on Wednesday morning local time on the second day of his trip to Managua, and referring to the common history of the people of Iran and Nicaragua in the revolution, resistance and fighting against the enemies of freedom, and emphasised, "Our common historical experience is standing up to the people's vote, confronting the enemy's conspiracy and trying to realise democracy".

Speaking on Wednesday morning local time in a meeting with Mr Gustavo Porras, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Nicaragua, in the Nicaraguan parliament building, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, "Parliaments are considered the home of nations based on real popular votes, and the presence of real representatives who have people's vote in the legislatures bring peace to the people".

During trip to Nicaragua; President presents wreath at the monument to the leaders of the Nicaraguan Revolution

On the second day of his official visit to Nicaragua, Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, visited the monument of the famous and revolutionary leaders of the country on Wednesday morning, local time, in the Revolution Square of Managua city, and presented a wreath to the three deceased revolutionaries of the liberation movement.
