Dr Raisi called the holding of an emergency meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and reaching a fully operational and executive decision about Gaza the expectation of all the people of the world, especially the Islamic Ummah, and added, "This platform is not one for mere speech and announcement of positions, but must be a platform for action to quickly stop the bombings, lift the blockade of Gaza, and open the way to help the oppressed and authoritative people of this region, as well as to achieve the rights of the Palestinians, which was basically the main philosophy of the establishment of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation".

In continuation of the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran to stop the aggression of the Zionist regime, lift the siege and start providing aid to the oppressed and authoritative people of Gaza, the President, at the invitation of the government of Saudi Arabia as the periodic head of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and in order to participate in the emergency meeting of the heads of this organisation, left for Riyadh a few minutes ago.

After a two-day trip to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the President returned to Tehran a few minutes ago and was welcomed by the First Vice President and the Deputy for International Affairs of the Office of the Supreme Leader.
