Telephone call of the President of Uzbekistan with the President-elect; Dr Pezeshkian stresses cooperation with Uzbekistan for full implementation of agreements made in Martyr Raisi’s gov’t / Mirziyoyev expresses hope for realisation of major goals set to improve level of bilateral relations

Pointing to the priority of developing relations with Central Asian countries in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President-elect called the development of friendly relations with Uzbekistan important and said, “During the presidency of Martyr Raisi, many agreements were signed between Iran and Uzbekistan, which certainly in the new government, maximum cooperation will be done for the full implementation of these agreements”.

The Minister of Intelligence said, “I made some suggestions regarding the security issues of the country to Dr Pezeshkian; The executive issues of the country are a matter that is the responsibility of the President-elect, and naturally, we will provide him with what is needed”.

On Wednesday, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, while attending the President-elect's office, met with Dr Pezeshkian and presented a report on the latest status of the field under his management.

The Acting President praised Martyr Amirabdollahian's efforts to protect national interests, including the way he managed the atmosphere after the implementation of Operation True Promise, and stated, "The reason why the Supreme Leader gave full authority to the government in the negotiations was his full confidence in the late president at the macro level and trust in Dr Amirabdollahian in the "field of diplomacy".

Leaders of Iran and China meet; Dr Mokhber: Iran-China ties strategic, based on mutual interests, respect/ Xi Jinping: China's policy to cement ties with Iran not influenced by external factors

Stating that Iran-China relations are strategic and based on mutual interests and respect, the Acting President said, "The heads of the two countries are determined to continue and expand mutual cooperation in economic, commercial and energy fields".

At the ceremony of receiving Hungarian ambassador’s credentials, Dr Mokhber: Iran-Hungary political relations should be supported by relying on expansion of economic interactions/ Ambassador of Hungary: Relations between the two countries have been long-standing, historical, far from any problems

Pointing out that the Islamic Republic of Iran does not see any obstacles or limitations in the development of relations with Hungary, the Acting President stated that the political relations between the two countries should be supported by expanding commercial and economic interactions and exchanges, which requires the diligent efforts and follow-up of the relevant authorities in the two countries.

At the ceremony of receiving South Korean ambassador’s credentials; Dr Mokhber: Release of Iran's foreign exchange resources in South Korea is a suitable platform for reconstruction of bilateral relations/ Ambassador of South Korea: Relations between the two countries based on deep trust, long-standing friendship

Referring to the long-standing and friendly relations between Iran and South Korea, the Acting President described the release of foreign exchange resources of the Islamic Republic of Iran in South Korea as a suitable platform for the reconstruction of relations between the two countries.

At the ceremony of receiving Ambassador of Kazakhstan’s credentials; Dr Mokhber: Establishment of North-South Corridor has a great impact on promotion of Iran-Kazakhstan cooperation/ Ambassador of Kazakhstan: Activation of private sectors of the two countries important for actualisation of mutual capacities

The Acting President described diverse mutual capacities, especially in the fields of agriculture, industry and transportation, as a very suitable platform for deepening Iran-Kazakhstan interactions and emphasised on the importance and significant impact of launching the North-South Corridor in improving the level of cooperation and relations between the two countries and also other countries in the region.

At the ceremony of receiving Serbian ambassador’s credentials; Dr Mokhber: Balkan region important for Iran/ Ambassador of Serbia: Relations between the two countries expanded well during Dr Raisi’s term

The Acting President described the Balkan region as important for the Islamic Republic of Iran and expressed hope that the relations between Iran and Serbia will expand in the political, economic and international cooperation fields.
