President Masoud Pezeshkian advocated for reforming the education system in Iran to ensure that students are trained to meet the future needs of the country.

During a meeting to discuss the enhancement of the quality of the education system in Iran, President Pezeshkian highlighted the significance of educational equity through public participation, stating that community involvement will guarantee the success of the administration’s plans in this regard.

He called for the establishment of a center to monitor reports on the progress of school-building projects across all provinces, emphasizing that schools must be set up in neighborhoods where there is a genuine need to meet the needs of students in each district.

According to the president, an expert team will determine the standards required for classrooms and the equipment needed for a state-of-the-art education system.

Pezeshkian further stressed the importance of reforming teaching methods and the quality of training in schools, noting that the best international strategies and tools for enhancing education should be reviewed to empower students.

He also advocated for educating students in systematic thinking and teamwork methods to develop their problem-solving capabilities.

The president stated that the differences of educational quality in schools must not lead to discrimination and inequity among students.

He emphasized that education in each region must be tailored to its specific requirements to train a workforce suited to that region.
