The maximum interaction and empathy of the three branches is the necessity of a wise and efficient governance in the country

Speaking on Sunday evening at the first meeting of the government and high judicial officials, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, "All of us in the three branches as agents of the Islamic Republic have a common mission to serve the people, implement justice, uphold public rights and try to reduce crime, corruption and inequality and we must seek to establish and stabilise the norms of the Islamic Revolution".
The President described the separation and independence of the three branches to be one of the honours of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Constitution and added, "The separation and independence of branches never means non-interaction or insularity in governance. Wherever in the past 43 years there has been more coordination and empathy between the branches, things have progressed better".
Dr Raisi pointed out that today all the agents of the Islamic Republic system in the three branches emphasise the necessity of coordination and empathy of all the elements of the system, and stated, "The empathy of the three branches increases public hope and trust and is the necessity of running the country".
Pointing out that people's hope and trust in the country's administrative system and apparatus cannot be improved by speeches, the President clarified, "When people trust the country's administrative system and participate in the administration of the country, they feel that things are doing well in the implementation of the work".
In another part of his speech, Ayatollah Raisi stated that solving the problems and obstacles in the way of the administration of the country requires effort, and noted, "The government supports the judiciary to the best of its ability and the creation of a joint work group between the two branches to deal with executive and administrative affairs as well as cooperation".
The President further mentioned that another important area of cooperation between the two branches is the prevention of crime and corruption and said, "The more justice is done and the economic, social and cultural problems are solved in the society, the less crimes and corruptions will occur".
Dr Raisi also described the Supreme Council for the Prevention of Crime to be a suitable mechanism for cooperation between the authorities in the field of crime prevention and corruption and added, "To fight corruption and crime is a common mission of all of us and we should, based on the system of the country's problems, reform the corrupt structures to eliminate the grounds for crimes and corruption".
In the next part of his speech, the President stated that supervision is the guarantor of the good implementation of laws and regulations, and stated, "Supervision is necessary, but it should not make managers lose their courage, risk-taking, and making decisions and implementing important measures in the way of solving problems".
Ayatollah Raisi described smartening and completing electronic government as one of the other common responsibilities of all branches and stated, "The establishment of systems such as the licensing unit system, trading system and the like in the government in order to complete electronic government is being completed rapidly. The full use of these systems creates an important transformation by creating transparency and providing the possibility of accurate monitoring".
The President continued by stating that in today's meeting the government emphasised the importance of establishing financial discipline in state-owned companies so that these companies are not described the backyard of government agencies, and noted that all managers and executive bodies have been stressed to do their best to achieve justice.
Dr Raisi described the result of all the actions and efforts of the government and other branches of the country to create hope in the country and said, "Today, the enemy has used all its efforts to say that the system of the Islamic Republic is ineffective and to create despair in the people. If corruption happens in one corner, ill-wishers try to spread it to the entire system, but the Islamic Republic system is clean and fights corruption with all its might".
The President added, "The managers and those who care about the system should use all their efforts so that absolutely no corruption is institutionalised in any part of the system and increase people's hope and trust in the system with their actions".
Ayatollah Raisi emphasised that these meetings can be repeated on a topical basis so that the issues and problems of the country can be resolved more quickly.
