The President said, “The government is at the service of anyone who is concerned about production in the country”.
On Friday, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi visited HEPCO heavy equipment manufacturing company, and talked to the engineers and workers of this production complex, saying, “Products that are made inside the country, including in HEPCO, should not be imported from abroad under any circumstances”.
In response to the request of some workers of this production complex for the non-interference of non-experts in the management of HEPCO, Dr Raisi stated, “The issues of manufacturing companies should be followed up and resolved professionally and non-experts have no right to interfere in these issues”.
Appreciating the efforts of HEPCO workers and employees, the President said, “HEPCO produces power in the country and is a symbol of national pride and self-confidence. The government is at the service of anyone who is concerned about production in the country”.
Referring to the problems of large production factories in Markazi Province, Ayatollah Raisi said, “Unsuccessful and wrong privatisation along with incorrect management are the main causes of the problems of these production complexes”.
Emphasising that the problems of production units such as HEPCO and Azarab can be solved, the President said, “The officials should try to solve the problems of HEPCO with the efforts of workers and engineers. This huge factory can operate at three times the current capacity and the government is determined to provide the groundwork for this”.
