Dr Raisi called the handing over of more than 7 thousand residential units and plots of land in Qom province a fulfilment of the government's goal and promise to build 71 thousand housing units in this province and said, “If this special attention and efforts had been made in previous years, today the country would not suffer this level of backwardness in the field of housing”.

During visit to Qom province; Dr Raisi visits huge project of 30,000 housing units in 560-hectare site of Qom

The President visited the huge project of 30,000 housing units in a 560-hectare plot as part of the residential units under construction by the National Housing Movement in Qom province.

While appreciating the efforts of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and all specialists, consultants, contractors and workers in the implementation of this commendable plan, the President stated, “With the implementation of this plan, the number of optical fibre coverage in the country will reach 7.5 million households and we hope to see the people of the whole country benefit from this technology as soon as possible.

Optical fibre network coverage inauguration in Qom

In the presence of Dr Raisi; Handing over 3,748 residential units, 3,508 plots of land in Qom Province/ Minister of Roads and Urban Development: Qom Province has exceeded its share of 63k units in implementation of National Housing Movement Scheme

The ceremony of handing over 3,748 residential units and 3,508 plots of land was held in the presence of the President in Qom province.

In the presence of Dr Raisi; Nationwide optical fibre network coverage project in Qom province inaugurated/ Increasing population under optical fibre coverage to 7.5 million households/ Communication Minister's promise to reach 14 million households benefiting from optical fibre by the end of the year

The operation of the nationwide connection plan of Qom province to the optical fibre network was officially started with the presence of the President.

The President travelled to Qom province in order to mark the second visit of the Popular Administration to the province.
