Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian congratulated Turkey on its Republic Day, reaffirming Tehran’s readiness to expand cooperation with Ankara to advance mutual interests and strengthen regional stability and security.
In a message addressed to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people, President Pezeshkian described the two countries’ longstanding historical, cultural, religious and neighborly bonds as a valuable asset that could further deepen bilateral relations through shared political will.
He said Iran had consistently supported the development of friendly relations with Turkey as a strategic partner and valued neighbor.
President Pezeshkian added that Iran was prepared to broaden cooperation with Turkey in pursuit of common interests and to promote regional stability, security and prosperity.
The Iranian president also wished his Turkish counterpart health and success and expressed his hopes for the happiness and well-being of the Turkish people.
