Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon called for further expansion of ties between Tehran and Dushanbe, stressing growing bilateral interaction and closer relations between the two countries.
President Pezeshkian congratulated President Rahmon on his birthday during a phone call Monday, wishing him and the Tajik people health, happiness and prosperity.
The Iranian president also expressed his hopes for Rahmon’s continued health and longevity, while Rahmon thanked his Iranian counterpart and stressed the need to further expand relations between Tehran and Dushanbe.
The Tajik president also praised President Pezeshkian’s recent address to the United Nations General Assembly, describing it as wise and powerful, and wished the Iranian people happiness and prosperity.
