Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has congratulated Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on Saudi Arabia's National Day in separate messages.
President Pezeshkian told King Salman that the extensive cultural, economic and political commonalities between Iran and Saudi Arabia provide a strong foundation for friendship between the two Muslim nations and can further strengthen their shared ties.
The Iranian president expressed hope that continued mutual efforts would lead to growing relations between the two countries across all areas.
In a separate message to the crown prince, President Pezeshkian also extended his congratulations and expressed hope that joint efforts and the effective use of existing capacities would help expand brotherly cooperation in political, economic and cultural fields.
