Iran president, Abu Dhabi crown prince discuss regional security, Muslim unity

President Pezeshkian stressed Iran’s principled approach of using dialogue to resolve disputes and warned against efforts by adversaries to create division among Muslim countries.

The Iranian president called for vigilance and unity among Islamic nations to counter hostile and expansionist plans.

Addressing regional security, the president said the United States and the Israeli regime had fueled conflicts and attacked Iran.

He stressed that Iran had not started the war and had targeted US bases only in self-defense, including facilities used to launch attacks against Iran, which martyred the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as well as commanders, scientists and children.

President Pezeshkian said regional security could not be achieved through US military presence, emphasizing that countries in the region should discuss and decide on their own security independently.
