Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has congratulated the national mixed-gender taekwondo team after its victory at the Chuncheon 2026 World Taekwondo World Cup Team Championships Series in South Korea, describing the achievement as a reflection of the remarkable talent, determination, and potential of Iran's young athletes.
In his congratulatory message on Friday, the president said the world title once again demonstrated the capabilities of Iranian youth on the international stage and added another memorable achievement to the country's sporting record.
President Pezeshkian extended his congratulations to the Iranian people, the sports community, the athletes, coaches, technical staff, and everyone involved in securing the championship.
